    Creative Manitoba Mentorship Program

I have just completed an 8-month mentorship program with the lovely and talented- Natalie Sluis. It has been a great honour to share my arts practice through the mentorship program offered by Creative Manitoba. Since October, my “mini-me” and I have met virtually, in person, or even in my backyard to create choreography, tackle theatre projects, write grants, plan for the future and ultimately serve as mutual support systems to each other. It has been quite a ride and is only the beginning. I see great things in Natalie’s professional future and applaud her hard work, energy, commitment and above all, passion for everything she does!!

Winnipeg Studio Theatre’s Junior StudioWorks Academy was proud to present their year-end Showcase in March featuring 9 emerging musical theatre artists. The virtual presentation highlighted seven months of on line training through song, dance and scene work and was a wonderful way to celebrate these young artists. Artist in Schools

    Artist in Schools

I had the great pleasure of working as an Artist in the Schools at Princess Margaret Elementary in March. Over a three week period, I introduced over 200 students Grades K-5 to the art of Musical Theatre and Dance. it was an extremely rewarding residency, not only because I actually got to share my passion with little humans but to do it face-to-face….er-r-r-r Mask-to-Mask. The exhaustion I felt of being in the classroom was equalled by the exhilaration of our accomplishment. Many thx to a terrific administration, teaching personnel and of course, the students!!
