My All Abilities Dance group has been invited to participate in the International Human Rights Day hosted by the Canadian Museum of Human Rights. Come join us on Saturday, December 10th at 1 pm and see our group celebrate the joy of dance! Afterwards you can meet the dancers and hear how dance has impacted their lives and given them an opportunity to communicate that joy!

Just finished my StudioWorks Musical Theatre Intensive….32 students, 40 hours, 10 guest instructors, 2 original songs created (Thx to Sheena Grobb), 5 1/2 min. medley recorded (Thx to Elliot Lazar & Sunshine records), Meet & Greet with Shrek stars (Thx to Becky Frohlinger, Heather McGuigan and Jeigh Madjus), hundreds of lyrics and dance steps taught and refined (Thx to Donna Fletcher, Naomi Forman, Kimberley Rampersad and Catherine Wreford), dozens of characters created (Thx to Laura Kolisnyk & RobYn Slade), monologues and scenework coached (Thx to Robb Paterson & Ari Weinberg, thousands of notes played (Thx to Trish Franklin, round the clock commitment to greatness (Thx to Rebekah Jones) , memories made – endless!!!!!

We’re into Day 4 of Summer StudioWorks and my 32 participants are acting, dancing, singing, improv’ ing, voice-overing, songwriting, and recording their way through a fun-filled/super-charged week. Many thanks to my terrific guest teaching team: Rebekah Jones, Elliot Lazar, Trish Franklin, Donna Fletcher, Naomi Forman, Sheena Grobb, Laura Kolisnyk, Robb Paterson, Kimberley Rampersad, RobYn Slade, Ari Weinberg and Catherine Wreford.

Winnipeg Studio Theatre and StudioWorks present “Broadway Excursion ’17” featuring Broadway shows, workshops and New York City tours. Dates are confirmed for June 30-July 3, 2017 with an option to stay thru July 4th – Independence Day.
This year we will also be offering two days of street and architectural photography workshops for those who don’t wish to participate in Broadway workshops. Shows we are hoping to include are: Dear Evan Hansen, Come From Away, Hamilton, and Color Purple. Plus lots of other fun stuff!
